Plan to attend the 15th annual IU Indianapolis Last Lecture when Clinical Associate Professor Emeritus Peggy Daniels Lee, who retired in May 2020 as clinical associate professor of operations management and faculty chair of undergraduate programs at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business Indianapolis, presents From Secretary to Professor.
Lee will focus on people she has met on her lifetime journey who enriched her life and the lessons she learned from them that made her who she is today. Her life story is inspiring, and includes career transitions from secretarial to managerial positions in telecommunications and banking to academic teaching after earning a Ph.D. Lee was most particularly selected to present the Last Lecture because of her dedication to students.
When: Friday, November 3, 2023, 2 to 4 p.m. (lecture begins at 2 p.m. followed by a reception in the theater atrium)
Where: IU Indianapolis Campus Center Theater, Room CE 002 (lower level). The lecture begins at 2 p.m., followed by a reception in the theater atrium.
Nomination guidelines will be available late fall 2023.
