New Dean Orientation
Each year, Academic Affairs conducts an orientation session for newly-appointed deans. This session is generally scheduled during the summer months; however, an additional session will be scheduled for January if new deans are hired outside the usual hiring cycle. Topics for the orientation include an overview of the dean's role at IU Indianapolis, responsibility-centered management, and budget planning. Associate deans are welcome to attend these sessions.
