The Strategic Information Council meets biweekly to regularly and strategically mine our data repositories, including advising tools and institutional analytics developed internally (e.g., IU Indianapolis Data Link developed by Institutional Research and Decision Support), by the Educational Advisory Board or available through Canvas, in order to identify soluble barriers to student success and to address them systematically. The council is tasked with nurturing a deliberate cycle of piloting responses to identified barriers, evaluating the efficacy, and rapidly scaling them up or implementing policy to support undergraduate student retention and success in coordination with the Enrollment Management Advisory Council, the Council on Retention and Graduation, faculty governance groups, and the Center for Teaching and Learning.
