The Presidential Diversity Hiring Initiative is designed to support hiring of tenure-track faculty (pre-tenure or already tenured) who will enhance IU’s faculty diversity: a $30,000,000 investment.
Schools that are interested in accessing funding must have completed either a search or search waiver. For a search, this includes updating all applications within PeopleAdmin ("dispositions") and extending an OAA-approved offer to the top candidate. For a waiver, this includes obtaining the OIE waiver and extending an OAA-approved offer to the candidate.

Requests are presented to the Office of the Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Multicultural Affairs every two weeks.
