Bloomington Resources for Student Academic Appointees
Indianapolis-based academic units should use IU Indianapolis/IU-I policies and resources whenever possible.
It is essential to use the SAA appointment form for IU Indianapolis/IU-I graduate students, including all School of Medicine appointees no matter where located.
IU-I is developing its own graduate student handbook. In the meantime these resources may be of benefit for suggesting language or practices which schools can adopt. For more questions, contact Graduate Studies.
Graduate students:
- Bloomington practices are not binding on IU-I units. Please work with your program to determine what is available for you.
- Someone can be a graduate/professional student without having a 'student academic appointment.' Funding and work opportunities vary a lot. Contact your program.
