Words of Recognition for Chancellor's Scholars
Please provide on the form, in a maximum of 100 words, a statement to be read during the introduction of the Chancellor’s Scholar. This statement could incorporate what the student is studying, when they will graduate, a short tribute to their successes/work as a student at IU Indianapolis, if they intend to continue their studies, and other appropriate and relevant information.

Example 1
Wendy is a Public Safety Management student and will be graduating this spring. Wendy is an inspirational student who is dedicated to success, both in the classroom and in her professional life as a dispatch supervisor for the Marion County Sheriff's Office. Wendy plans to use her public safety degree and her knowledge of crisis management to positively impact the Marion County Sheriff Office as well as her community.
Example 2
Nathaniel Cantwell exemplifies academic excellence. After earning his bachelor’s degree this spring, he will have a double-major in computer engineering and mathematics, in addition to being an honors scholar. Nathaniel applies his technical expertise to both industrial internships and undergraduate research and has distinguished himself with his commitment to academic excellence. He plans to complete his M.S. in computer engineering next year before pursuing a job in the private sector.
