The PESRC review works in tandem with existing P/T review processes across the campus. Currently, the review timeline is set-up to enable candidates to receive formative feedback prior to submitting their dossier for third year review. For non-tenure track faculty (NTT), there isn’t a standard third year equivalent to third year review. We recommend that NTT faculty seeking formative PESRC review apply 2-3 years prior to seeking promotion.

Review Process

Once final candidate materials are received, they are assigned to two members of the committee consisting of a primary and secondary reader. Readers draft a preliminary review of the candidate materials using the Publicly Engaged Scholarship Rubric. Draft reviews are presented to the full committee for discussion and then revised resulting in a collective statement issued on behalf of the Committee. This letter is then sent to the Candidate.
